I'm a little new here, so I apologize if this has been discussed before... but does anyone else think that L could have had an ASD? Asperger's, maybe? I just read that series again, so it's something I've been thinking about the past few days. :twisted:

I have the box set of the Death Note DVDs, and it yes it does hapen fairly often that people seem to think that L may have aspergers. Interestingly he is parially based on Sherlock Holmes, who we also have people thinking may have had it.

Oddly I do not think so, I think he just saw to much of the worlds darkness and did not want to be a part of it. Sugar was the only sweetness he knew.

Everything he does seems to be a choice rather than an impairment.

Who knows. I doubt the auther or whatever was especially familiar with asd

I loves that anime! It took somethings that other animes had done but it was really intriguing game of cat and mouse!
