Does anyone like this show? I love it. It's on every night in reruns here. The characters are very Aspie-like, I think!! they take things literally, don't understand social rules, etc.

From what I've learned about AS.. I would have to say that Third Rock from the Sun is the absolute epitomy. Very funny too.

I think yahoo used to (and maybe it still does) offer downloads of third rock from the sun episodes.

I'm almost certain the writers of that show -- or at least one of them -- was an Aspie. I could watch it forever; they've stopped the reruns here and I really miss it. One of my favorites was when they all decided to go camping but their leader cut the trip short because he got "bitten by a pinecone" and Jim was trying to disguise himself as a tree (I don't remember the reason now) but kept getting shot at by hunters because he ended up looking like a deer...

That's me, and that's this website: an alien on my own planet.

I saw almost 1 minute of 3rd rock from the sun and I noticed the guy who plays Newman from seinfeld was playing one of the characters. Is he a regular?

I don't have a TV so unfortunately have only seen this once, but it was not long after I heard about AS and the characters really stood out as being Aspie-like!

Yea I used to watch third rock every night a couple years ago. It was in sindication, but now it's gone here. I love that show. Never really occured to me but it is indeed very aspie.

I loved the show and watched it when they came out with new ones. I haven't watched them since they only play reruns.
