Why is it in his reviews that adverts pop up in the middle? You can see them coming because of the little dot in the middle of the bar. I hate these adverts, heck I hate them at the beginning as well. I love that Bill Cosby joke in his Richie Rich review. To quote Dark Helmet "Fooled You".

Advice: Do a search for "Adblock Plus". Never suffer advertising on the net again.

Nope... this is advertising in the video stream...

It's because they make money off the ads, Channel awesome signed up for it

That's bogus. Could try the way of the Jolly Roger, if Arr is agreeable enough a term.

That's a great one. It's also a mindnumbingly bad movie.

I like the nostalgia critic plenty. Recently, there was a great team-up of him and Lupa, reviewing 'Simon Sez'. If you haven't seen that one already, look it up.

I think Doug appears to be a pretty nice guy, too. I liked his review of X-Men: First Class last year, because it was refreshingly positive and sincere.

Not sure what you mean by that's bogus... I can only assume it is a statement of doubt as to the veracity of my claim.

Quote:
Like Mozilla's built-in image blocker, Adblock blocks HTTP requests according to their source address and can block iframes, scripts, and Flash. It also uses automatically generated user stylesheets to hide elements such as text ads on a page as they load instead of blocking them, known as element hiding.

It will not filter inline video advertising... if it did, you would not get your videos once an advert was triggered as the server would never receice a queue prompt

Agreed... but as someone who is trying to make it the same way... Watch those ads, support the artists

Ageed. As much as I'm not a fan of the ads, I understand the financial purposes they serve for TGWTG.com. On the plus side, at least NC has some of the funniest commercial transitions I've ever seen for mid-video ads.

Bottom line, I'd rather sit through the ads than have to pay a subscription fee for the site.

It's better to just watch his reviews on YouTube. Though when he ever posts a new one I go there and watch it on that site first.

I will disagree here... if you enjoy his work, watch them on the blip.tv feed. they make money on those adverts.
