Fruits Basket
Nausicaa
Excel Saga
I've seen these, as well, and I liked them a lot. I haven't seen all of Excel Saga, it did weird things to my brain, and I had to stop watching it, heheh.
Have you seen Hayoa Miyazaki's other movies? He made Nausicaa, but he also made many other great films, like Mononoke Hime (Princess Mononoke), Spirited Away, Totoro, and Kiki's Delivery Service (he made others, too, but these are my favorites). Grave of the Fireflies is also excellent, but extremely depressing.

If you have comcast digital cable...go to channel 001 and scroll down to the cateragory The Cutting Edge. Then you go to the Anime Network.
Ah, unfortunately, I don't have digital cable, so I can't get the anime network. I wish I did, though!

It kinda made me embrace the dubbing a bit more since the V-Actors work hard to do the voices as well as they can.
Yes, it is pretty hard. I watched some extras on my Spirited Away DVD, and they describe how you have to match the timing of the animation's mouth movement, so I can see how that might cause awkward pauses or weird ways of saying things. In American animation, they always do the voices first, and match the character's mouth movements to the actor's. Sometimes (like in Disney) the character design is also affected by the voice actor's appearance.

I'm no anime maven but I appreciate the art form, in part because my brother happens to be an anime artist. If you're curious, his site is:
Cool, I will have to check it out. It looks nice from what I've seen so far.

Yes it is great to see that there are other people who have seen Neon Genesis Evangelion `(also I have seen serial experiments lain very good anime)
Yep, I think Evangelion is probably one of the best known animes out there, and it definitely deserves the attention it gets. Lain, unfortunately, is often ignored. It's one of those things that you either love or you hate, I think.
Animefreak, why did you quote that entire passage in your last message? I'm not upset, just confused.
