You can't compare Heath Ledger to Jack Nicholson, they were two completely different Jokers though. Not saying that you are in any shape, but Ledger got under the skin AND the mask.

I actually had Mark Hamill from the 90's cartoon in mind when I thought of a Joker far superior to Ledger and Nolan's, though I do think Nicholson was still better than Ledger.

Nicholson just plays Nicholson. Says his lines really sarcastic and vamps for the camera with his eyebrows. It's highly entertaining but, it's not high level acting.

Ledger actually inhabited the character of the Joker and made it his.

Conroy is my favorite animated/videogame version of Batman while Bale is probably my favorite live-action one (but Keaton's a close second).

That's your opinion, nothing wrong with that. Such a shame though, Nicholson was just a mob-boss in clown make-up 23 years ago. Ledger was utterly and unnervingly convincing in his own way.

That being said Nicholson's Joker has some of the best lines I like to quote to people out of the blue.

Quote:
What kind of world is it when a man dressed up like a bat steals all my press?

This Town needs and Enema!

I'd vote, but there's no Batman The Animated Series option. Heh.

My apologies, sir. I've only recently gotten into the Batman fandom. I'm still relatively uninformed. I'm still kind of a BatN00B at the moment.

No need to apologize, I was just letting you know.

He should have put the animated series on as an option.

We aren't all here from English speaking countries, i only saw the cartoons dubed in other languages.

The 90s cartoons where the best, and the early 90s films. Or its just me that was a little boy back then :) .

Clooney was the worse.
