Stand-up comedy recommendations?

I need some new comedy in a very serious way. Can anyone recommend me something new (or remind me of something old I may have forgotten)? My favorites at the moment are:

There's lots of other ones but I can't think of them off the top of my head.

I'd reccommend Zach Galifianakis.

He's the guy from The Hangover (Alan). His stand up is incredible, I'd reccommend you get his dvd 'Live at the Purple Onion'. It's brilliant, looking at your favourite comediens, I think you'll like it - let me know what you think, if you give it a try!

I'm already a fan of Zach Galifinakis, Jimmy Carr, Eddie Izzard, and Mitch Hedberg. I really don't like Patton Oswalt or Chris Rock, their style just seems too abrasive to me. The rest of the names are new! Huzzah! Thanks guys.

Just another thought, not sure if you have already heard of him or would like his comedy, but I'd also reccommend Johnny Vegas too.

As for regular funny actors, I really like Rainn Wilson's characters. Not sure if he does/ever did stand-up.

Didn't see Steve Byrne yet. His act cracks me up.

Could maybe give this more thought at a later date, brain not working now so will just mention a few contrasting people that I don't think have been mentioned yet though may very well be known to you. Mickey Flanagan, Al Murray, Henning wehn and Stewart lee. Not really favourites as such because I can never narrow these things down but they've all made my tummy and jaw hurt with laughter. I do laugh a helluva lot though. I gather bill Hicks is seen by some as a rehashing of.. Is it George Carlin? I get some US comics names muddled but maybeworth a go on the slight chance you hadn't heard his stuff. Oh and Ross noble.. I swear he just ad libs the whole show, scatterbrain madman but if you like him he may well have you in tears of laughter. A fewnames there anyway.
Would that I could post vids on this silly phone, have got hours and hours of comedy. Could at least give a few samples if not full gigs. But no, it's not smart enough lol.
