i love this show especially the charecter spencer reid! im sad though emily prentiss left the team but thats because cbs kept screwing over paget brewster (the actress) so she decided to leave on her own terms this time. i cant wait till the season starts!

I think there are far too few Reid-centric episodes. E.g. season 7 only had one as far as I can remember.

I like criminal minds. I've developed a genuine interest in criminal psychology through this show. I very rarely like something like this, real life is way too boring for me to waste time on it if im relaxing, just criminal minds is absolutely fascinating at times.

Seeing this thread reminded me to watch the show for the first time. I'll tell you what I think afterwards!

Last episode mentioned Asperger's (also in relation to Reed).

I saw the first two seasons only.

Sometimes Reid is just... too intelligent. I remember when he had to discover a password and he deduced it had to be the title of a song from a cd that was inserted on a disk drive, and he was correct!

But you are right, Reid need more "Reid-centric" episodes. In a lot of chapters he has only a few lines and doesn't interact with the group. Gideon, Hotch and Elle interact a lot, same with Morgan and Garcia, but... Reid? So yes, he needs to be the protagonist of some episodes because his interactions with the group don't reveal a lot of information about him.

Maybe this has changed now, I don't know, I have seen only the first two seasons.

My favourite character is Gideon, he is very intelligent and kind and he has a great voice and good taste in music.

I loved Gideon to! I was so sad when he left. The show is not nearly as good now.

Yes, when I saw he was going to leave the series I was quite disappointed because I really enjoyed his character. But I loved his "road movie" ending :o

The actor left after a show about criminals became too violent.

Well, Criminal Minds is certainly very violent and distressing. I only watched some chapters from the first two seasons.
