Will McAvoy something in same related field as aspergers?

Now I think it's a known fact that he does not have aspergers because of his overtly shown speaking and social skills but this opening speech in the pilot unmistakably strikes him as intellectually abnormal, I was absolutely in awe and gobsmacked that someone could be so intellectually possessed but at the same time be neurotypical, so I just can't help but wonder how it's possible for someone to be neurotypical but at the same time somehow be endowed with the aspie'esque power of perseverance and depth of intellectual focus, is there perhaps some mental wiring difference that features the same kind of intellectual superiority but then otherwise normal?
