Don't even think of remaking It's a Wonderful Life, or even Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. Frank Capra was a flat out genius.

I stumbled across some "behind the scenes of" on Youtube of Young Frankenstein. Nobody could ever, ever top the humor in that movie.

Add Yankee Doodle Dandy to the list, even the old Warner Bros biopics always took a lot of artistic license with the subjects they were filming.
