I just found this series a few weeks ago...
I love it. I love it a lot. So much. SO. MUCH.

Everywhere I read, they're like "No it's such an awful show! It depicts autistic people in such an offensive way!"
I dunno. I really connect with Jake, the main character. And maybe it is just me and maybe I will get comments like that. Who knows!

How do you feel about the show?

I really liked it in the beginning but apparently not enough other people did and it has not been renewed. As a result, I felt the end of the season was rushed. Shame.

I couldn't get over the mouth-breathing dad, all he ever said/called was 'Jake' and 'come here buddy'. That character ruined the whole show for me.

Okay I don't know why it took me so long to reply but this has started to bother me too. I didn't even notice it before!

You know, I was surprised that nobody had brought this up till now. I loved this show and I loved watching Jake. I loved how gifted he was; though he was Autistic it didn't matter because he had this ability to help people in such a supernatural way.

I loved the show until it got into the whole Kabalah thing. (Not sure if that's how you spell it) After that I didn't watch the second season. (It goes against my personal beliefs)

I think it's Kabbalah.
I'm on the third episode of the second season now and I don't know how much I like it...I like the old episodes more, I think.

Well, I don't know if you heard or not, but...They cancelled the series. I heard people didn't like the second season.

I felt I should tell you before you get too into the second season.
