old spongebob vs new spongebob- the looks

You know something different between the old spongebob and the new spongebob, the looks are different.

Old Spongebob

Nose is kinda narrow
Body is slightly thinner than the new one
Smile covers his cheeks
Voice is kinda normal to me
Body has some deep squiggles


New spongebob

Nose is slightly wider
Body is wider than the old one
Cheeks are showing when he has a straight face or a smile
Voice is higher than the old one
Body has more squiggles and they are shallow making him almost square

Which one do I like more? The old spongebob!

wow there's a new spongebob? i didn't even notice lol...he still looks pretty much the same to me, like he's on drugs half the time

I maybe wrong about the noses but the face size is different.

Here is another comparison.

"Gay Agenda" yeah I can see that in the newer episodes. He has this unsettling obsession with Squidward that's just creepy and sometimes borderline psychotic (See Squid's Visit). If he's not creeping us out with such an overly exaggerated trait in one episode, he's being a mind numbing antagonist who's very appearance is unsettling in an episode that puts Squidward at the butt of the jokes. In the end, we just pity poor Squidward and wish new gen Spongebob would go die in a chasm. Such bad episodes are what we call Squidward Torture Pron (misspelled on purpose for good reasons). Squidward chases a dream, Spongebob interferes, and Spongebob lives Squidward's dream or Spongebob is annoying, Squidward shuts him up or tries to get away or whatever, irony comes back to haunt him (Such Episodes like Choir Boys, Squid Wood, A Day Without Tears, Funny Pants, Slide Whistle Stooges, Boating Buddies, Pineapple Fever, wow the list just goes on and on). That creepypasta is starting to make sense.

I wish we can find a way to end that show. Spongebob's looks are just so annoying that I want to chop his face off and probably slice n' dice his body.

I actually like the appearance of new!Spongebob. I think he is cuter. The newer episodes in general look much better than the old ones.

However, and this is a really big however, I agree with everything Aspiegaming said regarding the content of the newer episodes and Spongebob's shift in personality. In other words, it sucks.

The new episodes do look better in terms of animation quality and such but the writing could be better.
One example would be the episode Shuffle Boarding. They pay a visit to Mermaid Man in Barnacle Boy, startle them and then injure them accidentally in a fight. It turns out they were supposed to compete in a shuffle boarding competition so Sponge and Pat agree to take their place in the form of painfully obvious new costumes. A minute later, we find out they already won the tournament and so they spend the rest of the episode arresting random citizens for the most trivial things and then a lame fight scene with Man Ray and then they deliver the trophies to MM and BB who are running away from an angry mob. The End.
Here's what I find wrong with this episode.
1. They scrapped the original plot in the middle of the episode. You can't do that! Maybe SB and Pat could've faced off against many of MM BB's aging super villains in Shuffle Boarding. They could've had a good episode!
2. It's the outside that counts. Everyone doesn't see through the cheap MM and BB disguise.
3. The whole arresting random citizens thing has been done. I may have seen something like that in another cartoon at one point but I can't say if I enjoyed it.
4. In the old shows, Sponge and Pat would get punished appropriately and comically for their misdeeds (Episodes like the one with the Hooks and the Invisible spray paint prank). In this episode, they get to abduct children and assault old ladies without consequence and MM and BB take the fall and after all they did in the beginning of the episode. Unbelievable!
5. The citizens seem to have a knack for solving their every problems with an angry mob in most new episodes.

This is really late. But I know two new writers who are the culprits of the new episodes of spongebob.

The culprits are Casey Alexander and Zeus Cervas.

I don't mind how he looks (didn't notice it until now) but Stephen Hillenburg is returning to the show.
