I have been a fan of Classic TV basically since I first got diagnosed with Aspergers. I've been through many shows but my current favorites are:
Family Affair
The Brady Bunch
Leave it to Beaver

And sometimes I watch:

The Adventures Of Ozzie And Harriet

I even got The Beaver's autograph from a friend who's sisters best friend is married to The Beaver :)

My favorite Classic Rock Bands are:

The Beatles (One of my obsessions)
Wings
All Beatles solo work
The Eagles
The Ricky Nelson Band
And more

I have met a few people my age who watch old shows and many who like Classic Rock music which I am thankful for as I thought I was alone on that boat for so long.

I certainly won't quarrel with your tastes in music, especially since I too like a lot of classic rock. I do have a quibble with your taxonomy though: Bon Jovi, along with bands such as Whitesnake, Guns and Roses, Motley Cru, and Van Halen aren't really classic rock; they are part of a genre called hair metal.

Classic rock is normally considered to be that rock and roll heavily influenced by the so-called British invasion from the Beatles through the end of the seventies, though some music that would fit within that genre is still being created today.

A lot of people didn't like the commercial/poppish sound of eighties music. Alternative, or Indie, got its name as a less commercialized alternative to hair metal.

Happy listening.

When I was a kid I used to turn the TV to black-and-white and put the radio on the oldies station and pretend it was the 1950s.
