Never watched that many - I think I would agree on Family Matters, and also Perfect Strangers (used to love Belky!). My mom always used to watch Golden Girls and Empty Nest so I inevitably did too, and they were pretty good. And used to watch some Cheers. But most of the more popular ones of recent years (decades) I skipped - Seinfeld, Friends, Frasier, etc. Just to me once dramas and other shows started becoming more serialized in the last 10 years or so, for me I lost whatever interest I had in sitcoms and have only recently gained it back due to Big Bang Theory which I really enjoy.

Back in my childhood my favorite sitcoms were: Full House, Family Matters, Step by Step, Caroline in the City, Malcolm in the Middle

Today the only non-animated sitcoms I watch are: Community and Modern Family.

I came across two British sitcoms from the past that I absolutely love and will forever: Fawlty Towers and Black Books.

It's funny, I seem like a serious, introverted monotone man, yet I love comedies that make me laugh. The following ones I've watched

Seinfeld
Friends
Everybody Loves Raymond
The King of Queens
The Big Bang Theory
How I Met Your Mother
Two and a Half Men (Seasons 1-8 only)
Cheers
The Office
Modern Family
Parks and Recreation
All in the Family
I Love Lucy
Gilligan's Island
My Name is Earl
Raising Hope
Workaholics
The Millers

I'm not sure if these count as sitcoms but I'll name these too.
South Park
The Simpsons (the first ten or so seasons, afterwards it became terrible)
Family Guy
American Dad
Louie
Wilfred

I'm shocked and disappointed that no one has yet mentioned Arrested Development. That is easily one of the funniest sitcoms of all time.

The only current one I watch is Sam & Cat. I don't consider adult type cartoons sitcoms

I'm surprised to read someone admit to that on WrongPlanet. I've seen some of Ariana Grande's stuff on 'Victorious' here and there, and thought she was consistently funny in it.
