TV shows everyone loves that you hate

For me it would be the big bang theory I just find it unfunny and most of the jokes are actually really bad if you take away the laugh track. Also It has a really unlikable cast of characters in my opinion, The only person in the show I can really stand is Raj

Entertainment provides role models to a lot of people. The abundance of tv protagonists in the last 10 years or so who are various breeds of psychopath including torturers (24), serial killers (Dexter), meth cooks (Breaking Bad), and cannibals (Hannibal), says a lot about how invested America is in building a decent society.

This example isn't concerning me, but rather a friend back in our college days. I - and everyone else - absolutely loved Twin Peaks and would talk about it non-stop, but this friend absolutely hated the show, and failed to see the appeal at all.

A lot of my friends watch a lot of reality TV garbage on BET. I do not.

In 1980, all anybody cared about was "Who shot J.R?"

I never watched Dallas.

My family and I hate the majority of reality shows.

Family Guy, Big Bang Theory

Many, many shows-- especially ones that people say I "have to watch," because I'll love them.

CHIEF among them is Big Bang Theory. I had the same problems with the F**king Sopranos. Same old stereotypical crap where it's Aspies or Italians.

And Seinfeld. Tried it. Just. Not. Funny.

Three's Company - that 'comedy' from the 1970s. John Ritter - may he RIP - grates on me in everything he did.

Don't know how popular this is (or was), but SHAMELESS (Showtime) made me ill.

Family Guy - ugh I hate that show. The jokes are stupid, a lot of sexual references and a lot of "NT" children still watch it! I can't believe young kids like this show.
American Dad - same concept
Any of those E! or MTV programs. "Keeping with with the KarCRAPians"! Can't believe anyone will watch that piece of crap.

I will watch one, sometimes two adult cartoon shows. The Simpsons and an occasional Futurama rerun. Can't go wrong with a Fox cartoon that's been on for a whopping 25 years.

The list of things I'd rather do than watch five minutes of The Big Bang Theory is sordid indeed.

Everyone I know loves it. I have to leave the room when I'm visiting my parents and they turn it on.

UGH I hate Friends. It's literally the worst show I've ever watched in my life. Everyone loves it, and I hate it....with a passion.

I find I have less and less tolerance for reality shows. There have been a few that I liked; Ice Road Truckers and Mountain Men come to mind. I used to like Pawn Stars, American Restoration, and American Pickers but they wore thin on me over time, especially Pawn Stars.
I never could see any entertainment value in Duck Dynasty and I flatly refuse to watch one second of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.
I won't even have anything to do with anyone that would enjoy watching something with such an utterly stupid name and theme.

i hate almost everything on television.
