Ayanami Rei, from Neon Genesis Evangelion.
She's quiet, shy, soft spoken, prefers to sit in the back of the class staring out the window, has trouble deciphering emotions, lives in a messy room all by herself, and mainly focuses on her job as an EVA pilot.
