I'm surprised that mostly everyone in the world likes this cartoon (and so do I).

Now my father is as into it as I am. He likes the episode where Peter and Michael Moore have a farting contest.

I'm more of a Simpsons fan. I enjoyed the Muppet and Hitler pokes they did. I even enjoyed when South Park satirized them for not having points to their jokes while they touched sacret and taboo issues. (episode: Cartoon Wars parts 1 & 2)

Peter (on South Park): You think that's bad, remember the time I had dinner with Gary Comen in Mexio?

I never quite understood the show. Other than Stewie and Brian share some kind of understanding, and why Peter is so stupid, yet funny, I will never understand.

I think it relates more towards reality than the Simpsons.

It was funny in the first three seasons. I can't sit through five minutes of the new episodes. It's like they're trying to put in fart jokes and really long overdone jokes as if to say "Haha! We're back! Aren't we funny?"

I love family Guy :P, the slapstick humor and randomness really appeals to me as it;s my kind of humor, surely the plots are obscure and no lessons are learned, but it;s funny, and ti if makes people laugh, let the show go on :)

Family Guy is awesome. Whenever I am feeling down, I slam a DVD into the player (yes I do often break peices of technology...) and watch it. The randomness, the speedy humour and the hilarious characters combined make it so funny. I also like how in some episodes they have taken jokes from the Simpsons which you initially think, 'oh crud they're running out of ideas...' then they completely change it at the last minute, like when Peter is driving in the parking lot for the mall looking for a space but people keep swerving into the spaces, then instead of squeezing into a compact space as Homer does, he parks his car on top of another car!

I find it pretty tedious. I think certain things about the show are funny, but not if I have to sit through an episode while they drive the joke into the ground. I'm like that with most of those cartoon shows, like the Simpsons, South Park, King of the Hill. I'd rather have someone tell me a funny bit about an episode rather than sit through the episode myself.

Stewie's great on his bit about O'Reilly on Olbermann's Countdown though.
