Watching pokemon the first movie out of nostalgia (God damn i miss being a stupid 10 year old kid in the movie theatres!) and find the intro sequence, with mew, surprinsingly well-constructed. The narration with the natural landscape and then mew-two asking himself "who am I?" then finalizing the narration while the movie fixes itself on mew ascending a blue mountain, ending when mew-two whispers "I am ready to be" in a dream-like haze, was extraordinarily well constructed and executed.

Too bad the rest of the movie is crap! but it's nostalgic crap. :P

XMen: Days Of Future Past.

During a genocidal war by the Sentinel robots against the mutants, Wolverine is sent mentally back in time to his younger body to try to alter the past by preventing the murder of the Sentinel inventor by Mystique. But a young Magneto has his own sinister plan. Darker than the other XMen movies. Jennifer Lawrence is a hottie, and I think the movie version of Quicksilver is my favorite mutant.

Big Hero 6

Great animated movie from in-house Disney that was based on a lesser-known MARVEL property. I enjoyed this movie and Baymax The Robot made me laugh repeatedly.

Fury

New war movie from the writer/director of End Of Watch that is set during the final days of WWII and centered around a tank crew going behind enemy lines.

Overall, despite the brutal violence, this had great performances all around and this could easily be a surprise nominee when Oscar nominations are announced.

Expendables 3 the extended unrated cut (I saw the Theatrical cut a few months ago).
And the only reason I decided to give this film a second chance is because I was made about the pg-13 cut and the lack of blood, carnage and bad language the two previous hard R films offered us, and so I thought this unrated cut will give us all the stuff we liked in the two first films films, well I was wrong, this unrated cut is a joke, a lie, a cheat, there is nothing unrated in it, no extra blood or violence, just a few extended shots here and there and one extra but muted F-bomb.
