And I mean films that don't have a easy plot - such as comedy films, where they are very basic and straightforward to watch (even though I have to pause them quite a bit because I'm pretty sure I have ADD).

I often don't know what the heck is going on in Bond films and other such films of that nature. That could be perhaps why I like comedy films so much, much more.

I'm watching Pierce Brosnan's latest film and I'm pretty much lost now what's going on and who's who in the film.

What about you ?

Actually, yes. Almost to the point I can predict what's going to happen next.

I have a hard time following the story of a lot of movies, or even remembering what the character's names are. Oftentimes after I watch a movie, I'll find myself reading a summary online so I can understand what actually happened. :P The Big Lebowski is one of those movies that really made my head spin the first time I watched it, though from what I understand the film's plot was deliberately made to be incredibly convoluted.

Films, yes, because movies are my primary passion and they hold my interest. The only area where I falter in that regard is in books. It's really, really hard for me to follow along with a novel most of the time, but I've always chalked that up to my ADHD.

It depends on the movie. Most non english movies (can watch most anime fine though) is hard to follow though.

No, I have trouble, especially in newer films (last 20 years or so). The pacing is much faster than in old movies. And in newer movies, you have to read between the lines all the time and infer what's going on.

Oddly, I had little trouble understanding the movie Memento, which ran backward in time, because they explained everything that was going on.

Within the first ten minutes of most films, I can tell who lives, who dies, who betrays whom, and whether or not there will be a sequel.

I prefer books.

It's difficult for me as I find my mind wanders a lot. It's much easier for me to focus on a film I find interesting. Often I watch films with my partner which are not the type of films I like and it's really hard to focus on what's going on with these. Generally I prefer children's films, I find these much easier to follow. I don't see the point having complicated plots that require lots of focus, it's supposed to be entertainment.
