I liked it a lot more than I was expecting to based on the bland trailers. I would probably rank it third in the series after The Hunt for Red October and Clear and Present Danger, though I enjoyed all five of them. I'm liking Ryan more than Bond or Bourne, and picking up the movies inspired me to finally get started on the books. Still on Red October now and I'm glad that I've got plenty of sequels to look forward to.

Minions

The Minions in their own movie before meeting Gru. I don't understand how this got to 1 Billion.

I personally think that movie is really overrated. Inside Out was much better.

A CIA hitman (Kevin Costner) is diagnosed with terminal brain cancer and decides to spend the little time he has left reconnecting with his estranged wife and daughter (Connie Nielsen and Hailee Steinfeld), but he's lured back to his job by another agent (Amber Heard) promising him an experimental drug that will prolong his life if he agrees to take down an arms dealer.

Agreed. That was terrific.

Saw Star Wars: The Force Awaken for a third time. This time in 3D.

Third time, and I still enjoyed it.


Then I watched the movie Joy.

I found Joy's family exacerbating. I liked the movie.

I really liked it. I am not a Jolie fan so I am pleased that I liked it.

Shortly after witnessing the execution of Chinese warlord Fu Manchu (Christopher Lee), Scotland Yard commissioner Nayland Smith (Nigel Green) investigates a series of crimes in London that lead him to believe Fu Manchu faked his death and has a new evil plot, which involves killing thousands in order to get what he wants.

All three Batman Dark Knight Trilogy movies. They were amazing.

Perry Mason defends an old friend (Robert Stack) on trial for murdering a bestselling novelist who invited several people, each of whom hated him and had a motive for the crime, to dinner at a hotel just before he was killed.

Brilliant ending on this one.
