Microprose, X-Com UFO defence. It came out around 1991 and it had to be the BEST game of it's time. You had so many fronts to the game. The research, finiancial, battle on the ground, battle in the air, and the best thing was making those different attributes of the game compliment each other to gain technology to win.

I have that game, it's pretty cool. How many characters have you unlocked?

I have unlocked everything in the game... since Dec 2001. I bought the game when it first came out and played it to death. The game keeps track of hours played, and its somewhere near 300 I think. I'll have to check, I played this with friends every friday for about a year. And then Every other friday or so for like 3 more years. We don't play it much anymore, due to Halo 1/2 being able to support 4+ players with system link play.

The characters I play as: Mario, Young Link, Ness, Peach, Dr. Mario, Mr. Game and Watch... sometimes... though I don't use him very often.

The game is amazing, and is easily my favorite game of all time. I'll probably buy a Nintendo Revolution at launch, just because they announced a online Super Smash Bros. game is in the works. I rarely play online games, but I would start just for this game...

My favorite game of all time: Herzog Zwei. It is an obscure game for the Sega Genesis. A very close second would be the PC game Settlers 2. (No, there was no Herzog Eins game. The characters in the game were Herzog Eins and Herzog Zwei. Herzog Eins was the cruel dictator, while Herzog Zwei, you, were the leader of the rebellion against Herzog Eins. "Herzog" is a German aristocracy title similar to the English "Duke".)

I usually use Luigi the majority of the time.

So far, I've unlocked Dr. Mario, Luigi, Young Link, and Jigglypuff, and one other, but I just got the game recently. Is Mr. Game and Watch hard to beat when it's time to unlock him?

Ness is hard to use for me.

So you have an Xbox, too? So do I. Do you have any of the MechAssault games on Xbox?

All-time fave would be a tie between Pirates! and Fallout 2.

Currently, I’m trying not to be obsessive about X3: Reunion.

The Phoenix Wright games, of course. I already own the first two games; I can't wait to buy the next two.

Idunno, I have an idea of what the ultimate game for me would be, but nothing comes close to it.

My favorite games are:
Earthbound
Super Mario RPG
Chrono Trigger
E.V.O. Search for Eden
Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Pokemon Handheld series
Yoshi's Island
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
Super Mario Strikers
Mario Tennis
Lego Star wars
Super Smash bros.
Summon Night
Breath of Fire...

I can't choose :?

I guess Super Smash bros. Melee is my favorite game right now. Either that or Yoshi's Island. Brings back some awesome memories.

What? No love for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas? It's a driving game, a flight simulator, a first-person shooter, and an RPG of sorts, with elements of RTS (especially the harvesting of resources, from owned properties) mixed in. What's not to love?

However, it only defeats Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords because LucasArts hurried Oblivion so much in its production, they were forced to abandon entire plotlines. (For instance, the HK-50 assassin droids you first encounter on Telos were supposed to lead, with the help of HK-47, to a robot-controlled planet, where you could stop production of the HK-50 line. That's part of why there are doors to a deeper complex under the abandoned research station on Telos - it was supposed to give you the clues to find the robot world. There was also supposed to be something you could do on Dantooine to rescue the reputation of the Jedi, but they never got to complete that code, either.) Had the game been completed as envisioned by its programmers, it would kick ridiculous amounts of video-game @ss.
