The Saget era (1989-1997) was the best, because it featured the most of what I call "whack in the weenie" segments.

I like Saget when he isn't on family shows. My favorite is Carlton.

@Tim_Tex: I couldn't agree with you more. The Saget era of AFHV was the best era; I have so many reruns of his AFHV eps on tape that I record in the year 2000 and 2003. :D

I never watched AFV much but I thought his run was the best.

I remember bits and pieces of his era on there. One that still sticks with me to this day is when he would show videos of funny signs such as street signs. One that I still laugh about is a street named...PuPu. So he said, "If you come to the corner of PuPu and PuPu, watch your step!" LOL.
