I think it's stranger for an Aspy adult NOT to like cartoons. Most I know like them more than me. The only current cartoon I watch is Bojack Horseman on Netflix, but I don't like it THAT much. It's kinda just something to keep me entertained between the release of the live-action Netflix shows that I like a lot more :)

As far as nostalgia goes, I like the 90's X-Men cartoon and Beavis and Butt-Head.

Love my cartoons. Anything from the 80s & 90s is in my list. Along with the original Looney Tunes.

I think we "millennials" might be the first generation allowing ourselves to watch cartoons while havong postgraduate education.

But it's a symptom of post-modernity, pop culture and high culture having become indistinguishable.
Anyway, I enjoy the adult ones, that go beyond pure postmodern entertainment... Rick and morty, bojack horseman.

Just because I like things drawn doesn't mean I haven't read books.

It's a very cute and funny show, and a nice break from other cartoons that are more plot-based. I think this show could be described as "Slice of Life."

I love cartoons, animation is my absolute favourite medium (including stop-motion) and if my book ever becomes successful enough, animation is the only way I'd go to adapt it.

I regularly watch cartoons like:

Family Guy
American Dad
The Venture Bros.
Bob's Burgers
The Simpsons
South Park
Archer

I'm sure there are others.

I like watching cartoons! I prefer them over life-action shows. Some of my favorites are:

Rocko's Modern Life
Angry Beavers
Jimmy Neutron
Dexter's lab
Courage TCD
Fairy oddparents (but only the earlier seasons)
Bojack Horseman
Rick and Morty
Gravity Falls
Phineas and Ferb
Recess
Rugrats
Danny Phantom
Teenage Robot

To name a few.

I love cartoons!

Here's some I like right now:

The Simpson's
Bob's Burgers
Archer
Rick and Morty
American Dad
Family Guy
Adventure Time
We Bare Bears

...To name a few. I haven't been watching Cartoon Network that much lately because I hate the way they schedule everything.

I really just don't, sorry - I find them primarily just overstimulating rather than deep compared to live action films like the Godfather, or TV series like Breaking Bad, and since they're designed with younger audiences in mind I think this is to be expected. (I sometimes do watch random Youtube videos just for curiousity though).

(And no I don't watch anime; I've heard that in Japan anime cartoons are often aimed more for adult audiences and may have deeper plots than most "Cartoon network"-style shows, but I know next to nothing about anime).

And likewise, I often find live action shows to be boring and understimulating, though Breaking Bad is pretty good from what I've seen of it.

I'm really not that big on TV or films at all lately to be honest; lately I'm into books if anything.

Not all Japanese anime are aimed for adults, but many of them nowadays do have adult themes more often than the anime in the olden days, IMHO.

I watched a lot of early Nicktoon and Cartoon Network shows, but after Ed Edd n Eddy ended I stopped watching animation in total for several years, recently I have been re-watching old shows as well as some new ones like Gravity Falls, Bojack Horseman and Rick and Morty. But nothing on Nick or CN right now really interests me. Also for future reference I don't care for Japanimation (AKA Anime).
