The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
I wanted an action comedy. It was okay but it could have been better. Not that funny either, only a few slightly humourous scenes.

Onward
Funny. Surprisingly nervewrecking. Liked the brothers and the manticore. Had some cute trolls.

We started watching that the other day then realised we'd seen it before and watched the new "Child's Play" remake instead. Nowhere near as good as the original film(s). Thought it might have been OK with the evil technology angle; it might have been if they had just made it as a different film instead of using Chucky.

I watched the old "Child's Play" movies on you tube a few months ago, they certainly had some jump scares, haven't seen the remake though, prefer the originals.

Train To Buhan.

A South Korean businessman takes his young daughter on a business trip by train, only to discover that they are in the middle of a zombie plague. Decent enough movie.

I concur. And I hate to say this, but Mark Hamill as the voice of Chucky does not compare to Brad Doriff in the originals.

Never realised it was Mark Hamill. Enjoyed him doing the Joker in the Batman Arkham games but I definitely prefer Brad Dourif for Chucky. I'm looking forward to the series that's supposed to be coming out with a lot of the original people involved. Hoping it'll be as good as Ash vs. Evil Dead which was way better than that unnecessary Evil Dead film remake!

Thorne: Scaredycat

I really wasn't sure what this movie was about other than it was a noir mystery/thriller which I'm sort of addicted to these days. This film was okay, a little on the slow side, but I've come to appreciate how these dark, moody noir films can build slowly. It was no detective masterpiece, but for all intents and purposes, occupied my time well.
