Yes it was, Brother Cecil.

I purchased a copy last year for my mom's birthday party, but as we watched it for the first time, a strange feeling came over me; the feeling being that my mom hated Isle Of Dogs because of how dogs were depicted.

In fact, I might hand it over to my NT girlfriend for her own birthday even though it isn't until December.

The Evil Beneath Loch Ness

Film made in 2001 about a hunt for the Loch Ness Monster. IMDB reviewers rating is 3.2/10, which I wouldn't disagree with. Dreadful low budget stuff. Stars Lysette Anthony (my main reason for watching it) as some sort of corporate executive called 'Lizzie Borden', LOL. I last saw her in a couple of episodes of the British soap opera Coronation Street about ten years ago. Ridiculous plot, dreadful acting (including Lysette), laughable SFX. The attempt at a Scottish accent by the American actor who plays the local police officer is unbelievable.

Color Out Of Space.

Father's Day present. Highly enjoyable, updated version of the Lovecraft story. Nicholas Cage wonderfully overacts.

I kind of like it when he does that.

I feel it could've been shortened a little but it was in my opinion, very good! It wraps up the main story lines from the other avenger films, good casting and overall story . I recommend giving it a go! Hope this helps!

Bloodshot

A Vin Diesel action film. VERY predictable, but then, if I was producing it and spent $50M on it, you can bet your sweet tookus I'd want it as commercial as possible. (Gotta keep my mansion in the Hollywood Hills, you know!)

The Legion.

Made on a shoestring budget, this is a historical movie about a Roman army trapped in Armenia by the Parthians. Their only hope is a half Roman soldier who is carrying a message for help to the Roman general in Syria. But because of bad blood between the two commanders, will the general in Syria help? Lots of sword fighting. Not too bad for such a cheaply made flick.
