Elizabeth

According to Wikipedia, there are many historical inaccuracies in this film, but I enjoy it nonetheless. The cast, set, & costumes are all very good.

Werewolf Woman

Rather over-the-top Italian horror pic from 1976. Acting and plot pretty ridiculous, but it's generally very watchable and doesn't descend into tongue in cheek self-parody or camp 'comedy horror' as all too many modern productions do. I watched this on an old big box VHS tape (probably ex-rental), and was interested to see a couple of these fetching quite high prices on Ebay.

Z

A mother is disturbed by her young son's increasingly antisocial behavior when he seems to make up an imaginary friend he calls Z. Her sense of being disturbed grows to outright dread when she realizes she had had the same imaginary friend, and that it wants her back.
Very good horror film with mounting tension and dread.
