White Lotus. I'm glad it's back. There's something very comforting in knowing all these awful people aren't in paradise, they're in hell. They just haven't realised it yet.

Six Feet Under streamed on Netflix Season 2 - 2002 episode 1 - In the Game episode 2 - Out, Out, Brief Candle episode 3 - The Plan episode 4 - Driving Mr. Mossback episode 5 - The Invisible Woman
Episodes 4 and 5 had an actress I first really noticed in Wonderfalls, season 1, episode 9, Safety Canary. Her character was timid and sweet. Someone who felt closer to the birds she cared for at the zoo than any people. Another thing that caught my attention was she died when she was 36 years old, from cardiac arrest stemming from an undiagnosed cardiac arrhythmia. When one first notices an actor, there is usually a reason, and one associates the actor with the character rather than the actual person. Wonderfalls was her last role. It did not air until nearly a full year after her death. She was mentioned in the bonus commentary. Regardless, Kellie Waymire was in episodes of Star Trek: Voyager (S6, E22), Star Trek: Enterprise (three episodes as Crewman Elizabeth Cutler), The X-Files (S8, E8), Alley McBeal (S2, E6), Seinfeld (S9, E4), and six episodes in season 2 of Six Feet Under. Unlike Wonderfalls, her character in Six Feet Under is a prostitute. If find it interesting that I know for a fact that I'd seen her in all of those shows, but I didn't actually notice her until I watched Wonderfalls. Now, if I see her, I recognize her.
I haven't said it yet. Six Feet Under is for mature audiences. This isn't because of the subject of death, but more of things that are considered "adult." Sometimes the mature content makes me roll my eyes at its gratuitous immaturity. On the other hand, it is a show about imperfect people facing problems and having issues. So I'm being a bit judgmental. It was HBO, and it was the early 2000s.

@babybird - I found humor in the upgrade from nuts to narcissist.
Finished season 2 of Six Feet Under on Netflix.
Season 2 ends with a cliff hanger of sorts. I remember watching years ago, sometime in the 2010s. I realized I must have watched it from Netflix DVD back then, because I did not have season 3. I remember it took a bit of time to find out what happened. Now, I can just continue watching, non-stop. But I'm not.
@babybird - correction: from "bloody nuts" to "raving narcissist." LOL

I watched the first episode of Zero Day on netflix.
And it's good but it contains the ridiculous fantasy of a black, female President of the United States.
And I'm wondering whether that's because it was in production before the election and they wanted to appear current but called it wrong.
Or whether every portrayal of the US president from now on is going to be a black woman until the US populace gets so used to the idea that voting for one seems like a reasonable thing to do?

Animal Control streamed on Hulu season 3, episode 7 - Ducks and Penguins
My favorite quote: "I've never been so made while looking at cute animals." (That might be a paraphrase and not an exact quote, because I heard it ten minutes ago. If it is not an exact quote, it is very close.)

Coronation Street, episodes from May and June 1970.
Irma Barlow has just lost her husband in a road accident in Australia, but now she's back in Weatherfield and gallivanting with slightly dodgy local businessman Dave Smith. Cyril Turpin, husband of Betty and a police sergeant, beats the hell out of a newly released ex-prisoner who's been harrassing his wife.
