As do I--the books, anyway. I adore the third film, and liked parts of the others but they don't work as well as a whole for me. (Too...ordinary. Heh.) I wasn't at all a fan of Book 5, and had some problems with Books 2, 4, and 6, but I'm still very much a fan of the series.

Books? Yes. Movies? They are ok. 3rd one was the worst I say. Changed too many things around and it had the worst ending to a movie known to humankind. I'd watch that Britney Spears movie while listening to a Christina Agulera then see that ending again. No offense to the persons who enjoy the previous.

Love it, my family loves it (mom, sister, grandpa). We're all pretty much Harry Potter freaks (or what do they usually call fans?). My lesbian sister is in love with Hermione and Emma Watson in particular.

Personally, I can't wait until J.K. Rowling finishes the series. I'm pretty much stuck in a rut when it comes to reading right now; the only books I'm currently interested in right now are C.S. Lewis's Narnia books.

Books are always better then movies, I pretty much just watch the movies to see how they do it, I'm not a huge fan of them :? But I love the books, although not as much as I used to..

The books or the films? Love the books, hate the films.

I love both the movies and the books, own all of each on DVD. I would kill to get a walk on role on a hp movie, and I'd do it for free! They are some of the most spectaular movies I have seen, and the books are awsome in the visual lanuge.

Well, except for Harry Potter and the Half-Baked Plot. That entire half-blood prince thing was SOOO lame! And have Hermoine, Ron, & com. gone nuts? I know they're teenagers in love, but give me a break!

I can't wait to see the fifth movie. I've seen who they case as Luna. She's way too pretty to be believable as out-of-it Luna, who I dearly love. :P

to be honest i just started reading the books. i read the first 3 books in a week, and the 4th and 5th books in a little less than a week each. I LOVED THEM. they were amazing. i cant wait to read the 6th one. as for the movies...the first 2 movies were great. i didnt really like the 3rd movie because alot of things were left out (i know they had to do that for time constraints) i felt the 3rd movie didnt do the book justice. i definatly would have been confused with the movie if i hadnt read the book first. (i saw the first 2 movies before reading the books). Ive become a harry potter freak.
It took me so long to get hooked on it because i used to be one of those christians who hated anything to do with witchcraft. Then i got hooked on charmed. Then i saw the first harry potter movie and thought it was really good. Later i saw the second and again thought it was good. I realized it wasnt so bad to watch it. i think set out to read the books. i couldnt get my hands on the first book until spring break this year. that is when i read the first 3 books.

True, they left more out of the 3rd film, but at least with the 3rd one they left us with a good movie. 2nd film was average at best, and the first one was mediocre to put it politely.
