There's a thread about Animaniacs, so why not post about its predecessor, Tiny Toon Adventures?
----
Aah, memories. I first saw the series at the age of 4; it would be a while until the cartoon came back to my mind at the age of 12, when I recorded reruns with my VHS (yes, kids, we had to actually use an actual tape to record stuff!) and I still look back on them with pride.

Tiny Toons, I felt, brought on the 90s animation renaissance, with its humor that both kids and adults can appreciate. The characters were diverse as well, and who wouldn't want to avoid Elmyra? :D Good times.....

Babs! :D

One of my favorite episodes is "Fields of Honey" where she finally finds a mentor. Nice homage to the olden days of Warner Brothers cartoons, as was "Two-Tone Town" (another fave). Foxy was played by Rob Paulsen doing Yakko's voice before we knew who Yakko was.

That show was great.

There have been random times in my life when I have had the Pinky and the Brain theme song in my head..

Pinky and the Brain, yes Pinky and the Brain, one is a genius, the others insane......

I've never seen the show itself, but I do know all the characters due to owning the PC game "Buster & The Beanstalk".

Watching the DVDs of this series really does take me back to 1999. :D

People her do realize that Tiny Toon's are just modified drawings of the original Looney Tunes characters from 1930-1969?

Of course. That was part of the point. The originals were their teachers and made semi-regular appearances on the show.

As a kid, I loved Shirley the Loon. Maybe because it was her accent, or she was a blond. :D

Ah yes, one of the "Baby Plucky" shorts, along with "Potty Years", "Ups and Downs" and that ANIMANIACS cameo he did in "Survey Ladies."

"Ele-lator go down the hole!"
