What do you think about New Star Trek

Spoiler!! !

I always like captain Kirk, but in this movie Kirk is presented as irresponsible Dr. House like jerk, first Violation of Prime Directive, second co-operation with war criminal Khan Singh to capture another starfleet vessel :D

Me too. But watching the young Spock screaming "Khan!", and watching the scene in Warp reactor room was quite awkward and funny. :D

I refuse to watch it as I did not consider the last one to be a `Star Trek' and, as such, will not consider this one to be one either.

To be honest I also feel a disgust as if it was no longer my star trek. But both films are well done. But I hope that somebody make film with "Q" as main character and he fix timeline and save Vulcan :D

I quite enjoyed it, I think they did a really good job with what they had from the 2009 film. The role of Kirk was better written than the last movie in my opinion, and the plot was better than you would expect of an action movie of that caliber....I was impressed! Most action-stlye films are quite lacking in the storyline department, but Star Trek: Into Darkness had a compelling plot and some good witty one-liners. Some of the conversations between Kirk and Spock were a little cliche, but the actor playing Khan really sold the character they had written for the film, and the action sequences were great. Either way it was a fast-paced thriller that definitly did not disappoint, even if you were not a fan of the series. (And the soundtrack was pretty good too, for those of you who care :) )

I thought it was decent.
Nothing to rave about but I'm glad I saw it.

It was rather cute the way they played The Wrath of Kahn inside out.

Yeah ... I think I inadvertly upset a few people in the theatre when I started giggling. It's just, I could tell it was coming, and it made the whole situation sort of amusingly ridiculous instead of tragic to me. :/

I haven't actually seen The Wrath of Kahn so I missed that.

You can get W.O.K. on line. Have a look and see the similarities.

It was good, saw the ending coming as soon as Mccoy started playing with the dead tribble.

I enjoyed it as well.
I agree the Kirk in the reactor and Spoke yelling Khan was awkward for me, but I got past it. I also chuckled a bit. I don't think I upset anyone because I sit close enough to the screen so everyone is behind me.
The actor that played Khan also plays Sherlock Holmes in the BBC's series Sherlock, which I also like.

I never expected that star trek can move mo to tears, i was really touched by the scene with the father caring for sick daughter.

One guy you you guessed it Khan, promised to save girl for a favor with is blowing secret starfleet facility.

When I saw it I started, I began to wonder what it i desperate parent is capable to do to save a child's .

When I was a kid was sick often and a lot of the time I was in hospital, my mother has always been with me.
I remember when I was 5 years old and really hurt my stomach, my mother called an ambulance, I went to the hospital emergency room doctor said that I'm fine and sent me home, my stomach still hurt, dad with my mom took me back to the hospital, the doctor said that I'm fine and wanted me sent back again, my mother got angry and berated the doctor that she do not know nothing about medicine . The doctor gave up and took me to the hospital. Then the surgeon that examined me later said that I had acute appendicitis and needs me to operate immediately. If not for my mother's insistence I would not be alive. It was to be about Star Trek and I write about myself

When I saw the scene in the hospital in new Star Trek. I wonder to which parent is capable to save child
