tim burtons complete opus is among my favorite films - hes just great in depicting things in a way that is over the top by todays demure style standards.

my absolute favorite of them all probably is batman returns. burtons great styling matched with a great cast/costume/makeup combo in devito/the penguin, walken/max shreck and pfeiffer/catwoman.

I love Tim Burton, he is one of my heroes. All of his movies from Frankenweenie and Vincent to Charlie and the Chocolate factory are brilliantly made, and are full of worlds that I would love to live in. I can repeat every line from The Nightmare before Christmas, and Edward Scissorhands. It would be beyond awesome if him, and Jhonen Vasquez (Creater of Invader Zim) made a movie together. On a random note, his finance Helena Bonham Carter was preparing for a movie in which she hung around austitic children and is now convinced that Tim has asperger's syndrome, and that it helps his work considerably, and helped him make the worlds in his films.

When I was 11, My grandfather bought my family a VCR and we taped Pee-Wee's Big Adventure. We watched all the time. I just watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory the night before last. I'll probably watch Mars Attacks tonight, both of which i rented from netflix and have at home right now.

The only ones I've seen recently are Big Fish, Edward Scissorhands, and Beetlejuice, and I loved them all. Big Fish and Edward Scissorhands made me cry.
