I haven't watched all of his films, but I love watching Eraserhead whenever I can.

I have also seen David Lynch's adaptation of Dune, which IMO was not a good movie nor a bad movie.

However, Universal Pictures has been trying for many years to get Lynch to do a Director's Cut,
but Lynch has turned down all offers.

One of Lynch's works I want to watch at some point is Mulholland Drive, but likely won't because of the lesbian undertones.

Fact: At one point, George Lucas considered Steven Spielberg, David Cronenberg, and David Lynch to direct Return Of The Jedi, but Lynch turned down Lucas' offer citing sci-fi as not "his thing."

Yeah, he considers that his biggest failure and the studio has apparently butchered his vision.

I'm really looking forward to Villeneuve's new Dune!

I’m pretty much obsessed with him. Any one have any ideas about the symbolism in his films? I have some theories about them and I would love to bounce them off of some people.

I hadn’t heard any thing about dune coming out. Ridley Scott was slated to ir before lynch was signed on. I was just thinking about buying blade runner 2049 today. I hope dune is as visually appealing as that was.

I have a love hate feeling towards Lynch's work.

There are clips from his movies I have watched over and over. But there is also other stuff where I feel like he is just wasting my time.

Off the top of my head right now I would say Blue Velvet is my favorite.

I have a cult-like love for DUNE. But Lynch hates it and calls it his worst experience in film making.

It's in production and supposed to be released at the end of this year https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1160419/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0

I enjoy Villeneuve's work quite a bit and the cast is interesting too (Stellan Skarsgård as Baron Harkonnen  )

I like David's paintings and artwork too, so in case you haven't seen it, I think you might enjoy this: David Lynch: The Art Life

I love David Lynch's movies and TV shows, in particular:

Blue Velvet.
Eraser Head.
Wild At Heart.
Twin Peaks (both old and new series)

Just to name a few.

My favorites in order are Mulholland drive, Eraserhead and Blue Velvet.
On a side note anyone know Kubrick said that his favorite movie was Eraserhead?

I think in Mulholland drive at the dinner party with the cowboy in the back was an actor staying in character. Maybe he had a hit film and wanted to be the life of the party. That’s the only way I could figure that he would be at the actors party.

I think lynch and Kubrick are both autistic. Also I heard very recently David byrne say that he is.

I've had figured Lynch was on the spectrum for a long time.

I did a Lynch double feature of Wild at Heart/Blue Velvet the other day. One...was weirder than the other.

Ah yes Twin Peaks. Love it. I take great satisfaction in living relatively close to Snoqualmie and North Bend where a lot of the exteriors were filmed. And Laura Parker's house being within walking distance of my house.

TOO COOL!! !
Lynch had actually spent part of his childhood growing up in my neck of the woods in the Spokane area.
