I personally didn't find Blazing Saddles to be funny. I wasn't offended by it. The juvenile humor just didn't appeal to me.

I just watched It Happened One Night, number 3 on the list.

It is an excellent movie, but it didn't strike me as a comedy movie. It didn't make me laugh.

A funnier one of the same era, and that is also a love story, is It Started with Eve, starring Charles Laughton and Deanna Durbin. That one is well worth watching.

Restricting myself to ten, in no particular order.
1. Hot Fuzz (2007)
2. What We Do in the Shadows (2014)
3. Wayne's World (1992)
4. The Loneliest boy in the World (2022)
5. Groundhog Day (1993)
6. The Artist (2011)
7. The Strong Man (1926)
8. The Cat and the Canary (1927)
9. Safety Last! (1923)
10. list all the Buster Keaton's silent films, place the titles on a wall, put on a blindfold, and throw a dart.

There are so many.

One of my favorite moments from Blazing Saddles

quote on IMDB: Blazing Saddles wrote:
[Lamarr's posse rides up on Bart's diversion: a single tollbooth in the middle of the desert]
Taggart: [1:19:44] *Le Petomane Thruway*? Now what'll that as*hole think of next?
[turns to the posse]
Taggart: Has anybody got a dime?
[henchmen grumble, search their pockets]
Taggart: Somebody's gotta go back and get a shit-load of dimes!

Its an unpopular opinion but I've always found Waynes World 2 far funnier than the original.

I do enjoy Airplane!

I also really like Wet Hot American Summer.
