So, Heather, the aspie on America's Next Top Model, got kicked off tonight. I was really shocked, because she was certainly the most beautiful and took the best pictures of the bunch. I just went over to the CW forums, and there were about 30 pages of comments, 95% of which was support for Heather. She also won Covergirl of the week, a people's choice thing, every week of the show. As disappointed as I am that she won't be on the show any more, I was really glad to see that so many people are supporting her, and perhaps learning more about AS in the process.
Thoughts?

We already have two threads for discussion of Heather. Stickied. One in the General Autism forum, the other in the News and Current Affairs forum. I suggest the former to post in.

I'm kind of pissed at the title of this thread. I haven't even had a chance to watch the last episode yet. You spoiled it.

Ah, good. Yay SF! I figured being on the West Coast, we would be the last to see the show  I keep forgetting some people have cool things like TIVO and whatnots.

I thought from the thread title you meant she had 'kicked off' (in the other sense of going on the offensive).
I thought maybe she had shouted violently at the other contestants or pulled their hair or something.

I do that same thing! Then my friend Val ruined it for me with a message on facebook. Spoilers suck. Now I feel so sad... Not sure who I want to win now...

Yeah, I found out from someone that lives on the East Coast. . wanted to chat about it before I had even settled down to watch. Maybe it was better that way, for I watched the show posting to the other forum. That took the sting out. Heather being lost and continuting to be resourceful and above all persistantin finding at least one 'go to' made my heart ache. I wanted to tell her that it was something she could look forward to doing much easier later in life and the only reason I could do it was I schlepped Dominos pizza my whole sophomore year and learned how to get around and find my way. I was a releif, though, Heather doesn't seem suited for that degree of that industry.

I think she's good looking too. I was surprised when some people I was talking to about the show didn't think she was pretty at all.
