We can all relate to movies, from the masterpieces to the one that looked like a ret*d monkey directed it. I want to know what types of movies do you hate the most.

I hate all movies that has to deal with problems from the African-American communties. Movies like Meet the Browns, Why did I get Married, This Christmas; anything that would look like Tyler Perry or someone similar would make. Those movies make it seems like EVERY SINGLE AFRICAN-AMERICAN FAMILY HAS TO f*****g HAVE A PROBLEM. It's just stereotypical and I can understand that because I'm black myself. Can't stand s**t like that.
So what type of moveis do you hate.

Chick Flicks
Most modern action movies (they're full of unnecesary Matrix-ish effects, and lousy actors)
Easter-european dramas where nothing happens

I hated the Eragon movie even though I didn't see it. I saw the sneak peak of it on ABC Family and hated it. I also hated the book too because the characters and plot reminded me of Star Wars.

I would have to agree.

I absolutely loathe films that are supposed to be comedies but are about as funny as dropping an anvil on your face.

The most recent example of this is the lamentable Meet The Spartans (soon to be followed by Superhero Movie, I believe).

Actually, I hate movies in general. Probably because the characters aren't as easy for me to obsess over as, say, anime characters from an ongoing series. Besides, I have a lot of trouble sitting still through the whole thing.

THE LORD OF THE RINGS.

Drawn out, stupid, senseless, idiotic, hyped-up load of crap. I really, really want my 7+ hours back on that one.

And the matrix sucked too. Horrible dialog, and just as drawn out and pointless.

I loved LotR. 8)

I hate romantic comedies, they just reek of boring.

I would rather look at pics of disgusting hookworms.

The only true African American films I enjoy are the one's with real plots and real actors : no "family style" plot films.

I hate Romantic comedies with a few exceptions: High Fidelity, All the Real Girls, Garden State (I know it's not one per se, but it cuts close) and a few others I can't name off the top of my head. Basically anything with John Cusack, Zooey Deschanel or Zach Braff is good in my book.

I don't like "problem" movies. I've got enough problems in real life.

I can't watch the Harry Potter movies. I started to watch the first three on TV but had to switch it off because I found them immensely irritating.

I'm not interested in sports so sports movies are out of the question for me.

I love comedies, but have no patience with unfunny ones. If they don't make me laugh in the first ten minutes, I switch them off.

I HATE "High school musical 1&2".
Seriously...they are the most superficial, cliche, fairytale-ending like movies ever invented....arghh!
In the movies they are encouraging people to do their own things, be their own person and try new things, but they also sing a song that says in a part of it..."Stick to the stuff you know".
Thats conflicting messages!!

I don't want to defend "High School Musical" (it was vastly inferior to "Newsies", also by Kenny Ortega), but the "Stick to the Status Quo" song (the only catchy tune in the movie IMO) represents the first, knee-jerk reaction of the supporting characters who are proven wrong at the end of the movie. This isn't "Star Trek" - there is actual conflict between characters.

The made-for-tv movies they show on Lifetime.
