What is your favroite Disabled Character?

Mine is Tiny Tim. I think he's just plain adorable. Most people with Disabilities don't like him, but I love him. He's as cute as a button with his little Cap on his Head. And I love the part of 'A Christmas Carol', where he says, "God bless us, Everyone!" I think it's because I relate to him so well. I've had a fair bit of sprains to my Right Ankle, since I broke my Right Leg, Ice Skating when I was Nine. Now I have a bit of a Limp, especially when it's cold and my Body is aching. It doesn't bother me, though because I've learned to live with it. I've also hoarded a lot of those Caps, due to my obsession with Cockneys, and I make a point of wearing one, whenever I have a chance. I even make up an excuse for wearing a Hat, because I wear them so much.

Ahab. One leg, great novel. What more could you ask.

Bran Stark, I guess (from 'A Game of Thrones' by George R.R. Martin).
I also like Barrick Eddon from 'Shadowmarch by Tad Williams.
Captain Hook is yet another great disabled character.

Darth Vader. Despite being more machine than man, he managed to help rule most of the galaxy as its 2nd in command. He is a poster child to show how much disabled people can accomplish in their lives.

Frank from Donnie Darko is missing an eye. Would that count?
Well, I guess Donnie's mental disability (whatever he has) would give him a spot on a list of 'greatest disabled characters ever'.

Ah, I think he's my favourite that I can agree with so far. I haven't thought of any on my own yet, despite the fact that I almost always have a book with me... :|

Maybe this is a bit of a stretch, but I'd have to pick Roland from the Dark tower, with his half-subtracted right hand. Imagine trying to open jars like that, let alone trek across a massive apocalyptic landscape... the mind boggles. 8O

Geordi LaForge from Star Trek: The Next Generation. I totally forgot about him!
And we can't forget Long John Silver either.

Davros is far more evil than Darth Vader!

I liked Little Voice, and Annie Mary from Very Annie Mary, they both seem to be mentally disabled in some way, but I think in both their oddness is put down to bad parenting, not disability.

Finbar from The Station Agent, he is sooo aspie! actually there was a lot of aspiness in that film.

but my favourite is Professor Charles Xavier. I think we should make a school like his but for aspies :D

Professor X is who I was thinking of, if only because he's the most powerful of the X-men, and probably the most powerful mutant in the world.
