Is this weird? I really really fancy kakashi from naruto, I love the way he looks, he is so goodlooking and I really lke his personality too.

Every one I know seems to think this is strange, but my bro fancied the cartoon cadbury's caramel rabbit from the advert, and I also kinow someone who fancied leela from futurama.

Anyone else?Image

I guess I think I did have some interests from watching so many Romantic animes, I think the biggest problem was when I had been watching Clannad. I don't know if it was because I have so little contact with people, but I kind of started feeling sick and unable to stop thinking about a character, it forced me to look on the internet for simular problems.

Cartoon crush topic

I did this more than forty-five years ago. There were two of them, not in the same cartoon. I never heard of anyone else with the same situation. I never told anyone, it was something private.

I wouldn't call this exactly love or anything, but shortly before last Christmas I was watching that episode of Mahou Sensei Negima, you know, the one where Azuna Kagurazawa dies. I mean, I know she's fictional, but for the strangest reason I took it hard and was depressed about it the entire holiday. The only thing that managed to cheer me up was the series finale in which Negi went back in time and broke the demon contract that was the cause of Azuna's death, thus in essence resurrecting her. It's weird how we can get attached to these characters, but it's best not to love them too much, cause you never know when one of them will get the axe *coughcodegeasscough*

I always wanted to meet a real life Jane Lane, the caustic and artistic type appeals to me. Living in Seattle, I've actually probably got a good chance too, though I haven't found her yet.

Garth Algar: Did you ever find Bugs Bunny attractive when he put on a dress and played girl bunny?
Wayne Campbell: No.
[cracks up laughing]
Wayne Campbell: No.
Garth Algar: Neither did I. I was just asking.

Seriously, though, I think anime is just made this way. They want you to be impressed with the characters (first several episodes of FMA, at least once every episode or so, someone announces grandly, "You ARE... the FULL METAL ALCHEMIST!! !! !" with a flourish, every episode of Inuyasha, they marvel at someone's extraordinary power), they're beautifully designed (often, not in Dragonball Z where they all look like cavemen, but often) and they are just oozing with mushy stuff. The fact that they are often a tad too true to life in their anatomical rendering, makes them feel more real than your average Nickelodeon cartoon, not to mention character development. The key is to remember what's real and what isn't... I wonder about some of the videos up on Youtube, for example...

"Did you ever see the Flintstones? Do you think that Wilma is sexy?
- Wilma Flintstone?
- Maybe we’ve been alone in deep space too long. But Every time I see that show her body drives me crazy. Is it me?
- I think in all probability Wilma Flintstone is the most desirable woman who ever lived.
- That’s good, I thought I was going strange
- She’s incredible.
- What do you think of Betty?
- Betty Rubble? I would go with Betty…but I’d be thinking of Wilma.
- This is crazy, why are we talking about going to bed with Wilma Flintstone?
- You’re right, we’re nuts, this is an insane conversation.
- She’ll never leave Fred and we know it."

Thank you! Even as was looking up the one from Wayne's World, I was thinking, "Wilma Flintstone... no wait, that's not who they mentioned. Why did I think of her?" I'd forgotten the one from Red Dwarf. That show is so danged quotable.

"Wasn't it Descartes who said, 'I am what I am'?"
"No, that was Popeye the Sailor Man."

well anime is a little realistic drawn it's not weird but i think you'll eventually get over it 8) also could be because of autism, it's not an unknown fact that whe suddenly can get an obsession and get over it without a reason.
