One of the best Japanese animators in my opinion. I just watched Nausicaä: Valley of the Wind (the name was changed recently because I spelled it wrong before....). Great movie! Before I watched Spirited Away and Castle in the Sky. Also great.

Now how many of his films has Miyazaki made? He's reached 65.....knowing him he's probably made a ton of them...... 8O

Howl's Moving Castle was his best yet, in my opinion, better than SA, even, but it's not on DVD yet, so I'm stuck watching SA over and over until HMC comes out in March. Here's hoping for Director's Commentary with the subtitle track like on the SA disk.

I'm a commentary fanatic, I love listening to commentary tracks, and there are some really good ones, IE Family Guy.

I;ve only seen one of Miyazaki's films (Spritied Away), and I like it. I thought it was a very well written, voiced, and animated movie; whose cinimated quality far exceeds that of many movies made over here.

I wish I had TCM, since their showing his films all month.

Yeah, that was true up until SA, I don't know what happened, but the commentary in SA was pretty darn good.

I love Hayao Miyazaki's films! I've seen Castle in the Sky, Spirited Away, and Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. I loved them all. My favourite was probably Castle in the Sky. Laputa was so beautiful! I would love to live there. ^^

I adore Miyazaki! I remember seeing Princess Mononoke in theaters when it was released (Uncut and dubbed! :D ) It was the coolest thing I ever saw, and I even cosplayed as Kiki and Nausicaa sometimes. Anyone wonder is his son's movie, Tales of Earthsea, will be dubbed by the gods at Pixar?
