It got confusing towards the end. I had no idea what was going on.

What do you expect from a David Lynch movie?

In some ways yes, but I found it to be more interesting in my humble opinion.

2003 Special Edition, "Assembly Cut," whatever they're calling it.

recently at theaters: Office Christmas Party

I wanted to walk out so bad, but I sucked it up and sat thru the whole movie.
So much drinking and stupidity, my brain was overloaded. But it was Mum's pick and you don't say no to Mum!

How was the director's cut?
I liked it when I first saw it as a kid, but as an adult, I thought it was so ridiculous that it was funny.

It's not quite as bad as the Star Wars Special Editions (which I outright refuse to watch again) but the comic book transitions are pretty poorly done.

Lately I've been catching up on my Walter Hill. The Driver and Last Man Standing were a lot more enjoyable than The Warriors, especially the former. If you like Drive with Ryan Gosling, The Driver is a must-see. It's practically the same film. I'm surprised there wasn't a lawsuit.

I'd really like to see Streets of Fire. That'll probably be next on my list in Hill's filmography.
