Many people have described it as a comedy, but IMHO, it is more of a romantic drama than a romantic comedy. Overall, a very weird movie with great performances by Colin Farrell {playing against-type} and Rachel Weisz.

The Messengers.

When a family escaping financial ruin in Chicago move to a farm out in the middle of nowhere in North Dakota to start over, the two kids realize the ghosts of the former owners are still there. And then there's the "too friendly" farmhand who shows up out of the blue... Are the ghosts trying to kill them all, or are they trying to save them?
Pretty decent horror flick.
