Didn't care for it at all the first time I saw it. Picked up the Blu-ray in a $5 bin and thought I'd give it another try. Liked it a bit better this time but I still wouldn't put it in my top 5 John Carpenter films.

Hidden Figures. I usually go more for fantasy/SF but I was kind of an astronomy nerd as a kid so I got excited when I read that not only did women do their bit for NASA back in the day but that a movie was being made about it (and I didn't even have to drive all the way to a big city to see it!) Not only was I not disappointed, the movie has a nice bonus of beautiful late 1950s/early 1960s cars.

A very excellent movie with great performances by the cast. Some unexpected funny moments made the movie worth seeing even more.

I saw Hidden Figures, as well, and give it the same review as AnonymousAnonymous.

Moonlight - It was a bit..."airy"? Sort of like Drive. Felt overdramatic and drawn out. Story was alright. Could have been better. 7.2/10

Then Arrival. I enjoyed it. A lot of people didn't. Some opinions I read people wanted a film more like Interstellar that had more depth and creativity. While this was more of a sci-fi drama. It reminded me of Solaris.
But it also could have been better. 7.8/10
