"The Hateful Eight"

One of Tarantino's best films to date.

Fences - Didn't expect to like this one but I think its one of the bests of 2016. Dezel did a killer performance. 8.1/10

The Nice Guys - Fun buddy cop movie. But a bit raunchy being a comedy involving 12 year olds in porn situations. Wasn't satisfied with the ending. Sequel in the future? 7.6/10

Hacksaw Ridge - Very intense view of history. Mel could have toned down some of the ridiculous like when Sam Worthington's character took a torso and used it as a bullet shield when running towards the Japanese. Not saying that didn't happen in war but at times it felt like a cheesy action movie. Garfield did a great job with the character. 8.2/10

Zootopia - Was too tired to finish it. I'll try it again this week.

Manchester By the Sea - Progressed slowly and felt a little too spacey. The teenage sex scenes felt unnecessary. Worth a watch though. Casey Affleck played a depressed individual but his mostly emotionless performance was forgettable. 7.8/10

Also Lion - Loved this one. Great story, great acting and camera work. My only complaints were Rooney Mara's character didn't contribute that much and some scenes came off as a google advert. 8.4/10

I give it a C even if the acting is not super great yet, as well as it pertains to realism. I mean Piranha don't live in certain types of watery environments that is, unless you were to genetically modify them. Never less still a good film.

Just seeing the cover makes me want to watch those old Asian gangster movies.

Cameron directed Piranha II.

Piranha was directed by Joe Dante (The Howling, Gremlins, Innerspace, Small Soldiers).

Hey I remember spotting that dvd at the 99cents store and gave it a go. Good lineup of actors but I don't remember much of the story. It was interesting seeing the Jurassic Park Aussie guy in another film.
