Watched 'Lights Out' the other day. I was attempting to cancel out a previous scary film with this scary film (and thus balance the equation so I can sleep a little easier) but as it happened, 'Light's Out' was too predictable, even with the creepy paranormal lady sneaking about.

Thirst.

The only good thing of this otherwise lackluster horror flick is the CG, in which a half-machine, half-reptilian alien blood sucker looks pretty good. They should have put as much effort into writing the script, in which troubled teens are taken out on a wilderness hike and camp out, when a vampiric alien monster starts sucking them dry of all bodily fluids. The only recognizable actor was they guy killed by Morgan in the last Walking Dead. He dies in this movie, too.

Not bad for what's basically an early version of King Kong, but Kong improved on it hugely.

Passengers (2016)
Don't want to give spoilers, but it featured a serious moral conundrum. It had a strange way of resolving it, but it was entertaining all the same.
