Wonder Woman

It was a comic book movie everyone in the theater wanted! A packed house where everyone clapped at the end of the movie as did I.

Gal Gadot was perfect as Diana/Wonder Woman and the movie was more like Richard Donner's first "Superman" movie than "Batman Begins" {if Donner's "Superman" movie was like the first "Thor" film}. She and Chris Pine had great chemistry and I also liked the juxtaposition between Diana trying to understand the world of mankind and Steve Taylor {played by Pine} trying to understand the differences of Diana's world.

I don't want to post any spoilers, but if you go see "Wonder Woman" and expect a post-credits sequence, don't because there is no post-credits sequence.

GoldenEye (1995)

Pretty dire. Even worse than the videogame.

The Carrier.

After a virus proves to be antibiotic resistant, and sweeps through the globe, a desperate group of survivors try flying to safety on an airline passenger jet, only to find that the virus is on board. Okay horror flick.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. I was as happy as I could be because there were only five people in the theatre including my mum, sister and I. And it was mid-day on a Saturday which I found odd.

There is a post credits scene.

Overkill: The Aileen Wuornos Story

With Jean Smart as the most notorious female serial killer of modern times. This is probably less well known than Monster (with Charlize Theron as Wuornos), but it's well worth watching, and in some ways is a better film. I actually found myself sympathizing with Aileen at times, and even rooting for her, which may be a little worrying....
