From Hell It Came.

Godawful Z grade 1950s horror film. Pacific islanders (all white people colored dark) ritually execute a man friendly to the Americans on the island, at the behest of the evil witchdoctor, and the new chief. The dead man returns as a walking stump (no, he wasn't a tree that was cut down - - he just grew into a stump), and goes on a rampage. Starring 1950s horror schlock movie star, James Algar.

Beat.

Father's Day present from my wife. It's the "in part" factual story of the incidents that had led up to the accidental shooting (or was it?) of Joan Burroughs, by her husband, great Beat Generation author, William Burroughs. One of my favorite movies, starring Kiefer Sutherland as Burroughs, and Courtney Love (yes, that Courtney Love) as Joan.

Get Out.

An interracial couple pays a visit to the white girlfriend's family, when the boyfriend begins to realize something sinister is going on with these upper middle class white people with their intentions toward him.
Very good thriller, and funny, too.
