Demon Hole.

A bunch of teen offenders are sent out in a work crew to clean up a wooded area for a fracking operation. Soon after getting lost, they find themselves at a mysterious cabin where they begin falling victim to the Old Testament god, Molloch, who has been freed from under the earth by the fracking operation. Yes, you should have alcohol on hand to watch this.

The American Version of the Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. I prefer the Swedish ones even though I like it.

It was a great movie with some parts unexpectedly hilarious and some parts unexpectedly emotional. I think {this is just my opinion} Lucas Film made the right decision by giving the Last Jedi directorial gig to Ryan Johnson because of how well he creates likable characters.

^^^I am no movie reviewer, so this thumbnail sketch is the best I can do- the remake of 2017 was about a half hour longer than the original '91 cartoon, which was far more concise. the beast in the '91 version was not really grotesque in the movie as he was in the cartoon. but overall, the 2017 version was much more cinematic, much more involving, much easier on the eyes. it is worth watching at least once.
