Of my friends most of them cuss. I think not cussing is rarer than people who cuss.

^I really hope that's not true.

It was a fairly average harem romantic comedy typical of the time of its release. It's a lot like Love Hina where the characters are of university age, but it's less comedic and more of an earnest romance. I found it less appealing than Love Hina for that reason and because its characters were a bit dull. The main female love interest I'm sure is probably the perfect idea of a Japanese wife; quiet, submissive and constantly apologetic for no reason.

If you're looking for a romantic comedy, there are better options such as Toradora. For more serious ones, there are better options like Your Lie In April, Clannad, Anohana, or any Shinkai film. For a fun ecchi harem there is the Monogatari series.

Then I guess I'd be the perfect idea of a Japanese house wife, for I am quiet, submissive, and apologetic for no reason. But that doesn't mean I'm not strong-willed.

Clannad is my favourite anime, and I enjoyed Anohana. I was rather put off by Your Lie in April, though.

I'm on episode 20 of His and Her Circumstances (Kare Kano). The show has been a great romantic dramedy so far, though from here on out Hideaki Anno stepped down as the lead director—dunno how these last handful of episodes will go. Episode 19 was done entirely in drawings (similar to one episode of Evangelion), which may have been an artistic choice or because of severe budget cuts.

Yes. I enjoy anime. I can't say I've watched over 50, and I sometimes rewatch the ones I consider favorites.

It's one of my faves from way back. It has lots of internal contrasts.

All things considered, I'd recommend Love, Chunibyo, and Other Delusions, and also My Mental Choices Are Ruining My HS Rom-Com.

I might be going through post-Clannad wistfulness again.

People say that. I disagree.

It seems bigoted, based on stereotypes and cultural biases.

These are the anime I'm planning to watch this upcoming season:

Aggressive Retsuko (all 10 episodes premiere on Netflix April 10th - should be an easy binge)
Amanchu! Advance (12 episodes, premieres April 7th)
Hisone to Maso-tan (number of episodes currently unknown, premieres April 13th)
Steins;Gate 0 (23 episodes, premieres April 12th)

You can see the full chart here.

I am a huge anime fan. Madoka Magica is one of my all time favorites. I have completed many series, and also have to finish many others (the list is too long!). I rarely binge watch series unless they're really, really good. Last fall season I binged Made in Abyss and Land of the Lustrous.

I loved Made in Abyss. I was less hyped/impressed with Land of the Lustrous as everyone else but still enjoyed it.

I have finally been introduced to Haruhi Suzumiya. I was planning on watching the whole season on Youtube, but for some reason I can't find the fifth and eighth episodes and I don't want to skip anything. Are there any other anime-watching sites that are genuinely safe?

I actually think the vast majority of anime streaming sites are safe as long as you have an adblocker. I use watchcartoononline.io and OtakuStreamers.tv for things not on Crunchyroll, though lately because of blocks at school/losing my VPN I've just been saving anime I want to watch on an external hard drive.
