I saw Buried last night, neat concept, but a lousy idea to stick Ryan Reynolds in a coffin for the whole movie. Whenever the faceless terrorist called demanding money, i laughed. Cult fim of our time? I don't think so.

I just saw Monster last night, with Charlize Theron. It was very sad.

Charlize Theron was simply amazing in Monster, she rightfully deserved an Academy Award. The scene where she breaks down at the bus stop always gives me chills, and Christina Ricci was brilliant as the young girl she befriends.

She really was amazing, I agree. It has to be the saddest story about a real person I have ever seen. Aileen Wuornos must have been intellectually challenged to some degree and likewise wasn't able to handle the things that happened to her any better than she did, because of it.

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, the '30s version. The guy who played Jekyll and Hyde and was amazing, especially when he was in Hyde mode.

OK, saw the '40s version of Dr. Jekyll an Mr. Hyde. Definitely not as good as the '30s version. Spencer Tracy seemed miscast: too wimpy and bland as Jekyll and his Hyde lacked menace. Ingrid Bergman's terrible Mockney accent seemed to come and go as it pleased.

The biopic of Ed Wood, directed by Tim Burton and starring Johnny Depp. I absolutely loved it! Johnny was great as always. I adored his character - I have a thing for cheerful guys with transvestic tendencies. And Martin Landau did such a good job as Bela Lugosi that sometimes I forgot he was an actor and not the actual Bela Lugosi.

I just half watched Walk The Line. It started okay, then got a bit tedious.
