The Shape Of Water.

A mute woman who has been befriended by a gay artist - both outsiders in 1950s America - falls in love with what is essentially the Creature from the Black Lagoon, which is being held in a government facility where she works. When the sadistic army officer running the operation wants to kill and dissect the creature, she convinces her friends to help her save him. Outstanding movie.

What's your verdict?

A true masterpiece worthy of its status as a "cult film."

INDEED! 8)

Eraserhead made no sense either, but in a good way.

Think of it as being like a dream of disturbing things, complete with nonsense dream logic.

That's a very good description.

Well, it's a very thought provoking film from start to finish

Mr and Mrs Smith
Brad Pitt and Jolie are terrible in this movie.

...I now am watching an old MGM musical, on Turner Classic Movies, called Take Me Out To The Ball Game, with Frank Sinatra and Gene Kelly, directed by Busby Berkeley! :D In it, Sinatra is rather playing off his original " boyish/innicent skinny crooner " image - and not his later Mafia image!
FRAAANNNNKIE!

...Now it's this 1960s Disney musical I didn't see when I was 8 years old, " The One And Only, Genuine, Original Family Band "! Nice bright 1960s look and songs by the Sherman Brothers.

Interesting middle chapter. I wonder how they will wrap it up with Episode IX.

I watched No Good Deed last night with Idris Elba as a bad man.

I was tense throughout and on the edge on my seat.

Full of suspense and nail biting moments.
