Sharnado.
Pure stupid cheese. Mindless fun. I was looking for something to fill in an hour and a half of my life. It served it's purpose.

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (2017)

It was a bit hard to follow because a lot of it was edited like one big movie trailer and there were constant flashbacks/cutaways, but overall, the rest of the film was great.

A Ghost Story

I've watched this a couple times before.
If you ever saw the trailer/preview, if features a ghost, in a sheet with two eye holes. I really enjoy it.
I like the way it deals with time.

I remember seeing that, as I recall that scene from the bridge where that older gentlemen inadvertently fell over the bridge into the freezing water below. That movie and various scenes from it creeped me out as a child

Bukowski: Born Into This.

Documentary on the life of the late great American poet and author, Charles Bukowski. His rages, alcoholism, and misogyny are considered in the light of his physically and mentally abusive upbringing. And yet under it all, he had a tender heart.

How do you think it compares to Red Dragon?

I like both movies but I think Manhunter is an underrated masterpiece

The Nightmare

Hated it

well, not really

it just reminded me of my own sleep paralysis and that was scary and a couple of the encounters were creepy AH

I wrote a story involving sleep paralysis called, Wide Asleep, found in my newly published book, Creeping Shadows.

I was going to watch Pan's Labyrinth last night, but then the tornado sirens went off and I had to spend enough time in the basement that it was too late to be starting that, so I watched this again instead. I find it interesting that it markets itself as far more pure horror than it actually is - it's more of a horror/comedy. Also, the name is misleading - out of the ten afflicted people, only one of them actually melts in any way. It's actually four different story ideas merged together - three of them merge together semi-decently, but the fourth one seems mostly like it was thrown in there just because. Also incredibly disgusting, but I find I'm fascinated by body horror lately, so I find it an acceptable "junk food for the brain" kind of movie.

How To Be A Serial Killer.

A serial killer takes a young man under his wing as a protege, teaching him how to kill, who to kill, and when to kill in order to remain free to keep killing. But when the master's girlfriend learns the truth, things start disintegrating for both of them. One of my birthday gifts.
