Dinosaur, with the note of being "from the producers of Lion King" the Disney Renaissance ended from this hard to remember movie and the second Disney Dark Age began. Disney proceeded to redesign a ride to it (really just the main character taped on and Disney trying to steal thunder from the soon to open far more awesome Jurassic Park area at nearby IoA) while several previous movies like Tarzan, Hercules and others during the Renaissance and First Dark Age (which had mostly good movies) never got a ride or even merchandise at the parks.

Schindler's List. A typical Spielberg product - mawkish, romanticised and demonstrating his usual unwholesome preoccupation with children. As well as being historically inaccurate.

Star Trek- Did it save the Trek franchise? No. It just dumbed it down... a lot.

Fully concur with this statement if what you are referring to are Star Trek (2009) and Star Trek: Into Darkness. I have observed that many people who are not "trekkers" seem to enjoy them much more than people I know who are avid watchers of the francise. I believe there where so many "open-ended" aspects of the Prime Universe ten movies, and even The Original Series, The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, and Enterprise (albeit Enterprise was not as quite as good as the rest, mostly due to the continuity problems).

If you meant Star Trek: The Motion Picture from the 1970s, it lead to many great films in the francise, especially Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan, Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, and Star Trek VIII: First Contact.

Aside from the Star Trek francise (or should I say francises), Frozen: I personally do not see anything appealing in this, and cannot understand why so many people my age love it so much.

Oh, and also, I have read members posting The Matrix, and again, disagree with that opinion. The Matrix was a brilliant movie, and I do not understand people finding it so confusing, as I found it rather simple when thinking about it.

But, after all, these are just my opinions.

Although I adored its soundtrack and loved Christoph Waltz's character, "Django Unchained" was somewhat of a disappointment. The climax was far too long and the story lacked heart.

I'd say Minions and Fast and Furious are overrated.
And Highschool Musical.

I agree, Feyokien. I don't like Marvel that much at all.

That martial arts movie "The raid" gets way too much acclaim.

Hmm, never heard of that one. Then again, the only martial arts movie I've ever watched is the Karate Kid [both the old one and the new one].
What about James Bond movies? I don't really see the point of them.

I've seen that movie before, it was okay, I didn't realize it had a lot of hype. I've been told it's basically the asian version of Die Hard.

You're not missing anything really... You should check out "kill bill" Tifa, if you haven't already. I don't know if that's classed as a martial arts film but it's got some awesome fighting and a good storyline. Yeah I'm not a fan of james bond I like some of the gadgets though :p

Yeah it holds 85% on rotten tomatoes and read quite a lot of people saying it's the best martial arts film ever.

The Raid and The Raid 2 are good (I gladly bought both on Blu-ray), but there was a lot of "greatest action movie in decades" hype attached to them both that wasn't really warranted. The same thing happened recently with Mad Max: Fury Road. As good as it is, pretty soon the hype will calm down and people will be calling it overrated when they realize it's not the greatest action film ever made. We unfortunately live in a culture of hyperbole, where everything has to be either the best or worst EVER. It gets tiring.

'The martian' just seen it now at cinema and I thought it was terrible. Yet it's getting great reviews everywhere.

Figures, one of them feel good type movies, I like to refer to it as the alternate reality of Interstellar where Matt Damons character didn't go nuts, you should have went to see Sicario instead, saw it last night it was a great film.
